Concept
This site is dedicated to my latest writing project 'seventy times seven hundred'. The idea is to pick a word and write a story of 700ish words based on that word. I will then publish it here. After a few months, I should have a nice collection of stories!
I was inspired to begin this project after writing my latest offering for Shotgun Honey. Writing a whole story in so few words is challenging but very satisfying. The really great thing about flash fiction is that it flatters my tendency to force as much meaning as possible out of far too few words.
So, let's see how we get on.
